Helen Moore - Partner

Helen MooreHelen joined Tayntons in May 2007 to help launch the firm's Employment team. She came from an established employment law background having worked for two West Midlands' based firms, including Legal 500 listed Higgs & Sons and now heads a busy employment law department.

With a specialism in disability discrimination, Helen is highly experienced in all areas of employment law, dispute resolution and negotiations, representing both private and corporate clients alike. The team's client feedback is always second to none and Helen has a proven track record in high profile and extremely complicated claims. She very much enjoys a challenge and always likes to offer proactive and supportive advice whenever it is required. 

Good at negotiating with the other side, Helen is very approachable and her ability to talk transfers into her home life where she loves to meet up with friends and enjoys going out in Worcester. She also plays hockey and recently completed the Flora London Marathon in support of Headway, the UK's leading brain injury association.

 

Hayley Roberts - Solicitor

 Hayley has been with Tayntons since 2004 having graduated from University of Plymouth in the same year. She started her training contract in 2006 after working in the personal injury department for two years and qualified as as solicitor in 2008. 

Her role has developed her experience in all of the firm's departments and since moving into the final stages of her training contract, Hayley has dealt with a number of litigated cases involving debt recovery; repossession; possession and bankruptcy proceedings. She is currently working in the employment team and helps with employment tribunal claims, recently representing a client at a tribunal pursuing a claim for unfair dismissal. She was pleased to achieve a successful outcome for them.

Hayley has also worked with external bodies such as the County Court, the Employment Tribunal Service, ACAS, National Bullying Helpline and Shelter. 

She likes the diversity of her role as each day is different and enjoys the close contact she has with clients, finding the negotiation of a good outcome very rewarding. When not at work Hayley enjoys cooking and going to the gym. She also likes camping, generally being outdoors and often meets up with university friends on any spare weekend. 

 

Renata Mauri - Paralegal

 Renata joined the firm in 2007. With a degree in modern languages she has previously worked as an interpreter in the UK and in Europe. 

At Tayntons she developed an interest in employment law and now works very closely with the head of department dealing with new enquiries, helping in the preparation of employment tribunal claims and other associated work.

Renata has a lot of contact with clients and gets a great deal of satisfaction from helping those who have been treated unfairly by their employer and who often have to pluck up the courage to seek legal advice.

Outside of work, Renata has an interest in archaeology, the theatre and going for walks with her dog Millie. 

 

Sue Magrath - Secretary

 Sue moved over to the employment team in August 2007 having previously worked for the firm's personal injury department and other large companies, including Royal Mail before that. She undertakes general secretarial duties for the team including taking details from new clients. 

Sue enjoys working in a growing department and can see that the employment team will play an important part in Tayntons' future. She likes speaking to clients and organising their files and queries to help them achieve a satisfactory outcome, whichever employment service they are using. 

When not at work, Sue likes the usual gardening and reading but foreign holidays feature high on her priority list with destinations including Maldives, Mauritius, Cuba and San Francisco.
